Annual Leave Carryover

In speaking witrh Civil Service today, it has been decided that 2006 annual leave balances will be rolled over to 2007, but not the 2005 balances. Now, how is that to be calculated? Whatever you would have accrued during 2006, for example, 45 days (maximum) plus your yearly accrual (say, 15 days as an example). Then you could carry over 60 days. If you have more than the 60 days in my example, then that would be from the 2005 carryover and will not be carried over again. The Commisison is considering some sort of pensionable adjustment for those remaining days. The details for that have not been worked out. The next hearing for the issue will be Monday, December 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm.
